Candy:
Candy is a 22 year old red dun paint mare. I bought her in 2024, and she fits right in with the herd! Candy is a bit quirky, but she is super fun to ride. She has lived many lives, from winning two Queen titles, to winning reserve breakaway champion, and being a calf roping horse. Candy is the most laid-back horse in the pasture, but as soon as she gets tacked up, she is ready to go to work.
Trooper:
Mr Trooper is a 4 year old bay mustang gelding. After Trooper was rounded up in 2021, I gentled him and got him ready to start under saddle. Now, Trooper has around 30 rides down and is doing great. He is very smart and has a goofy personality. Trooper knows how to turn off the automatic waterer and open gates, so he is always causing mischief in the pasture.
Snickers: FOR SALE
Snickers is a 15 year old halflinger cross mare. She is broke but is a little quirky. She rides bareback, does fine in any bit or just a halter, has a really nice stop, and is responsive. Not a beginner horse. She is at the top of the pecking order. Snickers is not currently sound. I am happy to chat about her soundness issues with potential buyers. Our vet thinks that with a little maintenance, she will be sound to ride. Other than her lameness issues that started this year, Snickers has had no health issues. She trailers, stands for the farrier, has no issues tacking up and has great ground manners. I’m not in a rush to move her and want to find the perfect fit for her.
Bubbles:
Bubbles was my first horse and the first animal on the farm. She is a 13 year old black miniature horse. I have had bubbles since she was 3. Bubbles is a little horse with a huge personality. She is very sassy and moody, but also has a sweet side that she occasionally shows. She loves treats and knows a few tricks. Bubbles is very loved and will always have a place at Grace Ranch.
Bowser:
Bowser is a 23 year old gray draft cross gelding. He is a big, gentle giant. Bowser has spent his life as a dude and trail horse. He has worked hard and earned his retirement of light riding and relaxation. Bowser will be used for beginner family and friends.
Peanut:
Peanut is a 10 year old red pinto miniature horse. She was given to me when her owner didn't have time for her anymore. She is super calm and keeps to herself in the pasture. Peanut is broke to ride, and I also got her broke to drive a couple of summers ago. She has a beautiful mane that everyone loves to braid.
Yoshi:
Yoshi is a 22 year old gray quarter horse gelding. We bought him with his best friend, Bowser, so they are often seen hanging out in the pasture together. He had done lots of trail riding at a dude ranch before we got him. He is perfect for beginner riders, so he'll be used for lessons and trail rides for friends and family.
Tater Tot:
Miss Tater Tot is our 14 year old mini donkey. She is a fan favorite! Tater Tot loves to loudly greet people when they drive in. She is best buddies with Bubbles. She is broke to ride and is my go to for little kids wanting to ride. Tator Tot will do anything for food, so it can be a struggle to keep her at a healthy weight. We love this little donkey and are hoping to breed her in the future.
